WHAT IS THERE TO DO?
WATER ACTIVITIES
Enjoy the stunning underwater world right on our doorstep!
Daily snorkelling and exploring the stunning coral reefs with super easy access, simply walking in from the beach. Crystal clear warm water is so inviting and you will feel like you are in the most beautiful natural aquarium.
For those who are already qualified divers, this is a true diving paradise. We have fully equipped diving centre in the village and you can do as much diving as you like, whether it is off the beach or further away via a short zodiac trip.
One of the most popular water activities is a ‘snorkelling with wild dolphins’ trip, led by our knowledgeable guide Khaled. We take a transfer to our sister village Marsa Nakari and set off early morning to hopefully find the bottlenose dolphins, which are very playful, friendly and curious.
LAND ACTIVITIES
There is so much to do in and around our village!
We love the Desert Quadbike adventure, a group trip out into the desert, led by our guide Eid. Exploring the vast sand dunes and trails in what looks like a moonscape. A little bit of adrenalin and lots of fun!
Star gazing is a very popular activity, with the telescopes aiming at the night sky, exploring the constellations, planets and stars. Very interesting talks and explanations led by the Bawadi bedouins.
Horse riding and Camel riding can be organised with a guide picking up from the village.
Evening trip to the nearby town of Marsa Alam, where you can do a spot of shopping, visiting traditional Egyptian market or cafe and finding out how the locals live. Minibus trip with a guide.
