Day 2

The first morning on the boat will begin with a delicious breakfast served to you by our chef and his team.  Following this, our cruise director will give a welcome briefing as we start sailing to our first destination and let the journey begin.

Day 3 to 6

The next four days we spend out at sea between different beautiful islands and reefs.  Together with our instructors and guides we enjoy yoga, meditation, snorkelling and diving – this is the perfect combination to create the most joyful escape, sailing around the north of the Red Sea.

Day 7

It is now the end of the week and time to head back to the marina.  But don’t worry, that doesn’t mean we won’t enjoy this day! The yacht will arrive at the marina in the afternoon, where you will have time to explore the local area and we will have our last night onboard.

Day 8

Today is the check out day.  It is time to say goodbye to all the new friends you have made during the week, and a final thanks to the crew.  Check out from the cabins is at 09:00 and from the Majestic at 15:00.  Don’t forget to let us know if you would like to pre arrange your transfer.

FAQ’s (Frequently Asked Questions)

Q. If I want to pay for shared accommodation but have no one to travel with, will I be paired up?

A. There are always people on our retreats who come alone and want to share accommodation. This is primarily a way to reduce cost but also a yoga mindset of community and shared experience.
Our advice is always that if you decide to  share with someone you don’t know, be prepared to compromise over sleeping arrangements.
The cabins sometimes have beds of slightly different sizes due to cabin lay-out so one of you might end up on a larger bed.
Ultimately, you are on the yacht retreat to relax and enjoy the experience so if your  sleep is very important we recommend that you pay for single supplement, if you are travelling solo.
Or bring a friend and share a twin!

Q. Will we be sailing the whole time? I am worried about sea sickness .

A. Cruising on the Red Sea is generally calm and it is unlikely you will get seasick but there are sea sickness medications on board for any emergency!
We sail from one place to another but anchor down enough for rest from sailing  so that you can explore the reefs and islands on our route. You can swim off the boat or on deserted islands and there are Rib boats to taxi you off whenever you like!

Q. Will I definitely get to see dolphins?

A. Dolphins and other wonderful sea creatures are all around the Red Sea and our expert crew know exactly where they play and interact so it is very unusual not to see a sighting of pods of dolphin!

Q. I am a vegan, will the chefs cater for me?

A. Our chefs prepare gorgeous fresh food every day and cater for every dietary need. Lots of fresh fruit, veg and pulses are on the menu as well as dairy products, meats and fish for those who aren’t vegans.

Q. I am a bit scared of the deep ocean but want to cruise- do I have to partake in diving and snorkelling?

A. Not at all! If you simply want to enjoy great food, fab company or time alone, there are lots of areas on the boat to enjoy the sunshine on loungers reading a good book and listening to the sound of the calm seas!

Q. I am not an experienced yogi- is the yoga  suitable for a newbie?

A. Absolutely, the yoga and meditation sessions are for all levels of experience and everyone can join in if they want to take part. Equally, you do not have to join in every one on offer. The retreat is about letting yourself enjoy what feels good to you!

Q. I love the idea of having a massage on board- is this done in a cabin?

A. The boat doesn’t have a dedicated massage cabin but our massage therapist can adapt to whichever area on the boat you would like to relax whilst receiving either a head, face and shoulder massage or a feet and leg massage.
The first treatment  is complimentary and more can be booked subject to availability.

Q. Can you smoke on the boat?

A. We encourage our guests to enjoy a week of healthy food, deep relaxation, swimming and yoga to revive and reset but there will be areas on the boat where you can smoke away from non- smokers. It is important for everyone to be considerate to each other on yoga holidays.

Q. Will there be alcohol on board?

A. Wine, beer and some spirits will be available to buy on board but you can also bring your own if you wish to bring your favourite tipple!
